Logo

One round mark. The matzo ball with the smirk and the crossed arms, in a bowl, inside the ring. Use it whole.

On cream (preferred)

Clear space

Keep a margin around the logo equal to the height of the letter B in "BIG" (about 14% of the logo's diameter). Nothing inside that zone: no text, no other logos, no edges.

Minimum size

Print: 1 inch (25 mm) diameter. Screen: 64 px. Below that the mascot's face disappears and he gets upset.

Files

The original artwork is a raster PNG. There is no vector version yet, so scale the original PNG down, never up. An SVG will be added here only when an authentic vector logo exists.

Do

Use the full round mark with the ring.
Place it on cream, white, bowl blue or ink teal.
Keep the original colors.
Pair it with the puns. That's the point.

Don't

Recolor, outline, add a drop shadow, or rotate it.
Crop the mascot out of the ring or separate the lettering.
Stretch it, or place it on busy photos without a cream or ink panel behind it.
Put it next to anything that makes the joke mean.

Color

Teal and cream carry the brand. Bowl blue and broth gold are accents. Click any hex to copy it.

Logo teal

Primary. Headlines on cream, logo lines, links.

Warm cream

Primary background. The paper everything sits on.

Bowl blue

Accent. Soft panels, chips, calm sections.

Broth gold

Accent. Highlight buttons, callouts, warmth.

Deep teal

Companion. Buttons and small text on cream for contrast.

Ink teal

Companion. Dark sections and footer.

Deep cream

Companion. Alternate bands and borders.

Paprika

Sparingly. Alerts, focus rings, one warm punch.

Contrast: logo teal on cream is 4.8:1 (passes AA for body text at 16 px+). For small text or buttons use deep teal on cream (7.3:1) or cream on ink teal (11:1). Never set text in bowl blue or broth gold on cream.

Typography

Display: Fraunces, weight 700 to 800, soft optical axis

Big balls. Hot broth.

Body: DM Sans, weight 450 to 700

Two giant matzo balls, a full cup of chicken, and real homemade broth. Frozen by the quart so your freezer finally has a reason to exist.

Headlines are big, tight and chunky, echoing the logo lettering. Body is clean and plain. Both are open-source (SIL Open Font License) and self-hosted on this site. If you can't load them, use Georgia for display and system sans for body.

Tone of voice

Raunchy, warm, deadpan. The joke is always the balls. The soup is always serious.

Say it straight. "Put our balls in your mouth." No winking emoji, no "if you know what we mean." The deadpan is the joke.
Be warm underneath. Bubbe, sick days, cold nights. The soup is comfort. We're rude about the balls, never about the person.
Keep the facts clean. Ingredients, allergens, reheating and ordering are written plainly with no puns. Nobody should have to decode a joke to find the allergen line.
Short sentences. Big type needs few words.
Never punch down. No jokes about bodies, religion or anyone's grandmother but ours.
